This series of talks, sponsored by the UGA Statistical Consulting Center, aims to present topics of interest to statisticians and users of statistics related to the practical use of statistics for data analysis. These talks are non-technical and should be accessible and of interest to a mixed audience of non-statisticians who wish to understand and use statistical methods to analyze their data, as well as statisticians, students of statistics, and other flavors of data scientist who are interested in statistical applications. This informal Seminar Series is scheduled at lunchtime; attendees are encouraged to bring a meal and should not hesitate either to crunch loudly on a chip or to interrupt the speaker with a question.
