Statistics Major, Sarah Robinson, won the "Outstanding Undergraduate Student Presentation Award" at the International Conference on Advances in Interdisciplinary Statistics and Combinatorics, held in Greensboror, NC on September 30th- October 2nd, 2016. The award was for her presentation on her research on "Functional Data Analysis of Copy Number Alterations in Bladder Cancer Tumors". She performed this research during Computational Biology REU at UConn Health Center for Quantitative Medicine, in the Summer of 2016. Congratulations Sarah! Type of News/Audience: Departmental
