One of UGA's former Statistics majors, Mr. Zachary Stokes, is a graduate student of UCLA Statistics Department and pursuing his PhD research under the supervision of Dr. Hongquan Xu. He submitted a proposal to the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (https://www.nsfgrfp.org/) extending his undergraduate research conducted at UGA with Dr. Abhyuday Mandal.
