The Statistics Student Support Fund was established to provide support for students in the Department of Statistics within the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Georgia. Each year the department awards one or more scholarships from the SSSF, with preference given to applicants with demonstrated financial need or socioeconomic disadvantage. Eligibility is limited to students or prospective students of the Department of Statistics who are US citizens. The Spring 2026 application deadline is June 8, 2026. Scholarship applications received after the deadline will be accepted but are not guaranteed consideration. 

 

Current students of the department may also use this form to apply for emergency funding to address circumstance of acute financial need. There is no deadline for such applications, which will be considered on an ongoing basis.
