The Department of Statistics at the University of Georgia is partnering with Data Scientists at Wells Fargo to offer a Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Camp this summer. About 20 high school students selected from across the Athens area will participate in this virtual camp. This two-week hands-on learning program will be developed and taught by experienced faculty members from the Department of Statistics and Data Scientists from Wells Fargo with a passion for inspiring High School Students. The camp will be a fun and creative way to gain exposure to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

  • Statistical modeling
  • Machine Learning
  • Neural Networks
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Natural Language Processing
  • GAN – Image Manipulation
  • Reinforcement Learning
  • Capstone Project: Work in teams to form “Shark Tank” type fictional companies & business plans
