Statistics student Shuchi Goyal is a recipient of a CURO Research Assistantship for Spring 2018. This award includes a one-semester stipend of $1000 to conduct faculty-mentored research.
Rui Xie, a Ph.D. Graduate Student and Big Data Analytics Lab Research Assistant, received the second prize for his poster titled, “Online Sequential Leveraging Sampling Method for Streaming
Xiaoxiao Sun's paper "An asympirical smoothing parameters selection appproach for SS-ANOVA models in large samples" has been selected as one of the winners of this year's student paper competition from the Section on Statistical Computing.
