The Master of Science in Applied Data Science program at the University of Georgia brought together its inaugural advisory board on March 31, gathering industry leaders and UGA alumni in Athens for a day of conversation, collaboration, and strategic visioning for the program’s future.

The University of Georgia Department of Statistics hosted its annual Industry Day on March 19, welcoming Dr. Ryan Lekivetz, Director of Advanced Analytics R&D at JMP, for a full day of discussions, student meetings, and a departmental colloquium.

Congratulations to Roy Wilkes, a Statistics major, on being awarded the Mid-Term Foundation Fellowship at UGA and named a Stamps Scholar by the Stamps Scholars Program! His Mid-Term Foundation Fellowship provides four semester stipends from fall 2026 through spring 2028.
