Three Statistics Faculty Nominated for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching

Abhyuday Mandal, Maduranga Dassanayake, and Sarangan Balasubramaniam were were nominated this year by their students for the Franklin College Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award. Dan Hall Becomes New Interim Department Head

Starting in June of 2024, Dan Hall has become the Department's new Interim Department Head. He succeeds TN Sriram in this position, who did a wonderful job from July 2018 - 2024. The Department holds high expectations for Dan in this important position.
